Graduation Requirements

A black graduation cap with a gold tassel lies next to a rolled-up diploma tied with a red ribbon.Students enrolled at Stubblefield Learning Center must meet all requirements of the Texas Foundation High School Program, including earning a minimum of 22 credits and successfully completing all required STAAR assessments.

All coursework completed at Stubblefield is accredited through the Texas Education Agency and reported to the student's home district, where it becomes part of the student's official academic record. Our teachers and administrators are certified by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) and are employed through Hudson ISD.

Upon meeting all graduation requirements, students are recognized during a Stubblefield Learning Center commencement ceremony held at the Temple Theater on the Angelina College campus. Graduates receive their diploma from their home school district and are celebrated alongside their families, friends, and supporters. Stubblefield hosts two graduation ceremonies each year, giving students multiple opportunities to participate in this special occasion.
